Options And Specifics
Selectable buyer options such as colour and size should be imported as variants. Item specifics such as brand, colour, size, and supplier product ID can appear on the product page.
Variant options and item specifics serve different jobs. Variants create selectable buyer choices and stock rows, while item specifics describe the product for display, filtering, and product comparison.
The importer should normalise common labels such as Colour, Size, Brand, Supplier Product ID, Colour Options, and Size Options so imported listings match the rest of the marketplace.

Review Before Publishing
Imported listings should be reviewed for images, categories, price, stock, delivery rules, and item specifics before being made live.

Large imports can create many products quickly, but they can also expose supplier data issues such as broken image URLs, inconsistent size labels, missing colours, or products mapped to the wrong category.

- Publish only once the batch looks consistent across multiple categories.
Large Imports
For larger supplier files, import in sensible batches so category mapping, photos, and product option formatting can be checked as the catalogue grows.
For bigger supplier catalogues, it is safer to import in batches by category or product type. This makes it easier to confirm that each group has the right category, option structure, images, and product descriptions.
Once a clean import pattern is confirmed, sellers can scale up the number of products while still keeping enough review time for quality control.
